Middle School Retreat—Echo

"For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you...but your faith in God has gone forth everywhere..."

At this retreat, we want to explore what it means for the message of Jesus to resonate through our lives. In 1 Thessalonians 1:8, Paul celebrates a church whose faith was so genuine that God’s message “rang out” from them wherever they went. That’s the heartbeat of Echo—learning how our words, choices, and character can reflect Jesus in a way that carries beyond ourselves.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll look at how the life of Jesus shapes our identity, influences our relationships, and calls us to live with a steady, contagious faith. As we worship, learn, and grow together, our goal is simple: to become students whose lives echo the hope, love, and truth of Christ in everything we do.

We are excited to be at Solid Rock Camps this year, located in Eastland, Texas, about an hour from Abilene. Our outdoor activities will include:

Volleyball
Ga Ga Ball
Kickball
Soccer
And much more!

The retreat will cost $150 per person for those registering before April 1, increasing to $165 for those who sign up between April 2-6. Please note the absolute last day to sign up is April 6. Unfortunately, we won't be able to accept sign-ups past this day because of space and informing Solid Rock Camps of those attending.

Parents will drop students off at Southern Hills on Friday, April 17, between 5:00-5:30 p.m. Please ensure your students eat dinner before arriving. Pick up time on Sunday, April 19, will be at noon. Students will be fed breakfast and given snacks when we are on the road.
